Patients Waiting on placement of braces

Update as at 24th March 2020

As of the 23rd March 2020 the Ministry of Health have advised that all non-essential dental care should be ceased immediately. This means that, for now, all Orthodontic appointments are cancelled. We want to keep you and your family safe. We thought we’d answer a few questions below.

What if I have treatment plan but have not yet booked a time to have braces place?
Please email office@hbortho.co.nz or ring us (06) 877 1450 and leave a message. We will be in touch with you within a day or 2 and will schedule an appointment for a later date.

What happens if I’ve had extractions and I’m due to have my braces fitted?
In most cases, this will not affect your treatment. If you have concerns drop us a line.

What are we doing in the meantime?
Once we are open, we will be seeing patients in the order that they were originally booked. If your braces were due to be placed the week we closed, we will be seeing you first. If your braces were originally booked for the week that we reopen, your appointment will be delayed.

For any immediate concerns or emergencies please contact office@hbortho.co.nz .

Keep safe! Take care.
From the Team at HB Orthodontics
